FAQ

If the success or failure of this planet and of the human beings depended on how I am and what I do, how would I be? What would I do? -R. Buckminster Fuller

  1. Prices? I have a sliding scale of $150.00-$250.00 for a 50 minute session. I turn it over to my clients to with integrity tell me where they should be in that range. A different fee structure might be considered under special circumstances.

  2. Payment? Payment is accepted in the form of cash or check, and is expected at the time of the session, unless other wise arranged. Charge cards will be accepted soon.

  3. Cancellation policy? 24-hour cancellation policy is needed to either cancel or change an appointment without penalty (again unless otherwise agreed upon). Full price for the session will be charged. Everybody gets a reminder the first time; the policy goes into effect in full the second time. A missed session is charged the full rate. Likewise, if I do not show for a session your next session is complimentary.

  4. Phone sessions? Yes, I do phone sessions upon arrangement.

  5. Approach? I use a client centered, holistic health model approach. It can look relatively traditional in approach but if the client is willing and it is warranted we will explore alternative healing techniques when appropriate.

  6. What are alternative healing techniques? The use of nutrition, supplements, exercise, meditations, trance work, hypnotherapy, journeys to the earth power spots, spirituality, Feng Shui, dream work, journaling, to name a few.

  7. Philosophy? I am a Spiritual Life Coach, with a psychology background. I believe real healing occurs when you combine the concept of Spirit (whatever that means for the client) with psychology and action steps.

  8. Specialties? Addiction issues, women's issues, relationships, adult development, "Right Path"/career, regressions, life transitions, NLP.

  9. Insurance? No, I do not take insurance. I suggest to clients:
a.) If it's for coaching services, usually (with the advice of your tax accountant) you can take the expense off as a business expense on your taxes if you itemize.
b.) If it's for hypnotherapy or counseling you can do the same under medical (again with the advice of your tax accountant).
    c. ) If you have pre-tax monies set aside at work for health purposes, you can use that to cover your sessions. I will submit a statement.

  10. Licenses? I do my counseling under a Minister‘s license; I am also a Certified Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner. Basically, I am an educator. I am not a licensed pshychotherapist.

"I came into the process of working with a coach a bit skeptical and unsure. I had never been a person who particularly believed in the process or had ever been exposed to it. But from our first session, I knew I had found the key to unlocking answers I couln't find on my own. Armed only with a vague sense that I wanted my life to be something else, Roslyn helped me find a way to actually make that happen."
